A theme that surfaces every now and again in my work is the fact that I am from elsewhere and I experience my home and the place where I live with the eyes of a foreigner. The six paintings below are small works created with the idea of sending personal postcards to my family from my home abroad featuring places I see and people in my life. The works are emotional and yet playful.
